Aimee Anderson Oravec joined the firm as Of Counsel in 2007.  Aimee graduated from Southern Utah University in 1994 with a BA in History and French.  In 1998, Aimee received her JD degree from Washington University School of Law, Order of the Barristers.  Aimee began her Alaska Experience in Fairbanks, where she worked for a civil litigation firm, generally defending in complex civil matters.  Aimee also assisted employers to formulate employment policies and respond to agency investigations of wage and hour and discrimination issues.  Aimee is admitted to practice in Alaska and in the U.S. District Court for Alaska.  Her practice continues to include employment law and civil litigation on the trial and appellate level.

Wasserman vs. Bartholmew, 38 P.3d 1162  (Alaska 2002)(successful defense of third appeal related to judicial disqualification).

Ellison vs. Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 375, et al., 118 P.3d 1070 (Alaska 2005)(successful defense of union stewards against claims of "aiding and abetting" harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and breach of fair representation).

Lowell vs. Hayes, 117 P.3d 745 (Alaska  2005) (successful defense of City of Fairbanks, City Attorney, and former Mayor in suit brought for defamation).
