Craig S. Howard joined the firm in 2004. Mr. Howard worked for the State of Alaska Public Defender Agency for 22 years. After joining that agency in 1982, Mr. Howard guided over 300 cases through to jury verdict, conducting trials in both large cities and small towns throughout the state. During the last twelve years, he served as the felony trial unit supervisor. His duties included training of new attorneys as well as drafting and implementing of policy matters. Mr. Howard has participated in numerous training seminars lecturing on trial tactics. He has practiced law in Alaska for over 27 years.
Mr. Howard received his law degree from the University of Denver in 1978. He was awarded an undergraduate degree in Political Science with Great Distinction honors from San Jose State University in San Jose, California in 1978. His extensive experience has an emphasis in civil litigation, predominantly defending personal injury and aviation cases.
